PASTORAL FUND PRESENTATION 2025
Nkana Stadium in Kitwe came alive with joy and thanksgiving as the Men’s Pastoral Fund Presentation was held, beginning with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Archbishop Dr. Benjamin Phiri, JCD. The Mass, attended by clergy, laity, and men from across the Archdiocese, was marked with vibrant singing and prayer.
During his homily, Archbishop Phiri congratulated the men for their efforts in raising funds for the mission of evangelization. He, however, reminded them that their work must go beyond financial contributions, urging them to reflect on whether their fundraising translates into true conversion of life. The Archbishop called on the men to be examples of Christ within their families and homes, stressing that the Word of God must be rooted in their hearts, families, and communities.
After Mass, an Award ceremony followed, during which a cheque amounting to K3,091,750.75 was presented to the Archbishop in support of the Archdiocese’s evangelization programs. Deaneries, parishes, and outstations were recognized for their contributions, with the results as follows:
