MONITORING VISIT TO CHILILABOMBWE DISTRICT

On 10th May 2021, a team from the Catholic Diocese of Ndola travelled to Chililabombwe for a Monitoring field Visit from the 11th-14th May 2021. The team constitutes of the Vicar General- Rev. Fr. Christopher Chowa, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer-Gloria Mandeva Mupinga, Nurse in-charge – Mrs. Exhildah Soko and the ICT officer- Mrs Agnetta Musonda. On arrival the team paid a courtesy call to the District Administrative officer-Mr. Chipawa Chipawa, who took time to appreciate the works the Catholic Diocese of Ndola is doing in-conjunction with the Government. One of His officers, District water development officer- Mr. Eric Chitambo also joined the Catholic Diocese of Ndola team to monitor and assess the impact the project that started in October 2018 by the Catholic Diocese of Ndola in partnership with The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD) under the title “building community resilience to climatic shocks through improving food security, caring practices for vulnerable groups, sanitation and hygiene practices to enhance the nutritional status of rural communities in Zambia”. The project is being implemented in five districts and 20 communities and chililabombwe District is one of them in the four target communities which include Chimfushi, Lubansa, Kawama, and Fitobalula.
