I am pleased to  communicate to you all, that through a Decree of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples (No. 271/18) dated 30th January 2018.

The Holy See announced that His Grace, Most Rev. Dr Alick Banda, Archbishop of Lusaka Archdiocese has been appointed as the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Ndola by the Holy Father Pope Francis I, until when a new Bishop for the diocese will be nominated.

This information was released to us by the Apostolic Nuncio to Zambia, His Grace , Most Rev. Archbishop Julio Murat in his letter dated 7th February 2018, addressed to Archbishop Alick Banda.
