The Catholic Women Organisation in Ndola Diocese have done it again. Today 25th August 2018 the C.M.O presented a K 1,850,196.00 Cheque  to the Catholic Diocese of Ndola for the training and formation of Priests in Ndola Diocese. The beautiful Ceremony under the theme: ” JUSTICE, FREEDOM, HOPE AND PEACE FOR ALL WOMEN IN THE DIOCESE”,  was held at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. It commenced with Mass celebrated by Archbishop Banda’s Representative, Rev. Fr. Mathew Mumba, Pastoral Director.

Vicar Forane of Ndola Deanery, Rev. Fr. Kayombo, being the host deanery , gave the welcoming remarks  and invited Rev. Fr Mathews Mumba to preside over Mass.

Mass Began,the reading where later taken and the Gospel Read.   

Rev. Fr. Mumba read His Grace, Archbishop Alick Banda’s Homily, who failed to attend the event due to unforeseen circumstances.

The petions where read and the Offertory was taken in a colorful procession.

The Eucharistic celebration continued

Mass ended with the final blessing as the Priests left the stadium in a beautiful procession and returned for presentation of the Cheque and Trophies.

The K 1,850,193.00 Cheque was signed and  presented to the Archbishop’s Representative,  Rev. Fr. Mathews Mumba who gave a vote of thanks and encouraged the women to continue their hard work in supporting seminarians, on his Behalf.

The Trophies where given and representatives from Parishes  and Deaneries came out to receive their trophies. The overall performance of the deaneries was as follows: Kitwe Deanary to the 4th position,Chingola Deanery took the 3rd Position ,Nkana Deanery took the 2nd posistion and Ndola Deanery took the 1st position.  The over best at Parish level was Our Lady of Africa Parish.
