Jubilee for the Youths, Synod teams and participating Partners.
Today, the youths, synod teams, and participating partners of the Archdiocese of Ndola held their Jubilee Pilgrimage of Hope, which culminated in the celebration of Mass through the Holy Doors at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Ndola. The event was organized by the Youth Coordinator, Rev. Fr. Ackim Musenge, together with the Biblical Manager and In-charge of Synod Teams, Rev. Fr. Katongo Nkole. The cathedral was filled to capacity as vibrant and energetic youths gathered in prayer, song, and celebration. The colorful liturgy was presided over by the Archbishop of Ndola, Dr. Benjamin Phiri, JCD, who encouraged the young people to live lives of purpose, discipline, and faith. In his homily, Archbishop Phiri urged the youths to know who they are, value themselves, and have a clear direction in life anchored in God. He cautioned them against destructive addictions such as alcohol, drugs, and excessive use of social media, warning that these habits render many young people unproductive. The Archbishop emphasized the importance of discipline, innovation, and hard work, reminding them that success without effort or God leads to emptiness. Speaking as both a shepherd and a father, he called on the youths to rise above the challenges of modern life and become resilient and responsible members of the Church and society. He assured them that no matter how far they may have strayed, God is always ready to give them another chance to begin anew.
