Mass for Catholic Secondary schools Exhibition.
On 20th June 2026, fifteen Catholic secondary schools from across the Archdiocese of Ndola gathered at St. John’s Convent School for the Archdiocese of Ndola Secondary Schools Exhibition, a vibrant event showcasing the talents, creativity, and innovations of learners. The exhibition was organized by the Archdiocesan Education Office under the leadership of the Education Secretary, Sr. Odette Mwewa, in collaboration with the Commission of Catholic Professionals in Education (CCPE). Among the notable guests was the Provincial Education Officer, Dr. Zulu, who joined educators, clergy, and learners in celebrating the achievements of Catholic education. The day began with a beautiful Holy Mass celebrated by the Archbishop of Ndola, Most Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri, JCD. The liturgy was particularly unique as students from the participating schools took charge of the various ministries. The choir, altar servers, readers, and members of the Stelas all came from different schools, creating a colorful and inspiring celebration that highlighted the unity and diversity of the Archdiocese’s Catholic schools. In his homily, Archbishop Phiri commended the exhibition as an important platform for learners to showcase innovation, creativity, and practical skills. He encouraged the pupils to remain focused on their studies, emphasizing that education is is not just about gaining knowledge but being able to positive contribute to the community. He warned them about engaging themselves in alcohol and substance abuse, fornication and other vices. The Archbishop also reaffirmed the Catholic Church’s commitment to providing quality education that promotes not only academic excellence but also strong moral and Christian values.
