Archbishop Banda’s first Sunday at his Parish

Archbishop Alick Banda  celebrated his  first Sunday  Eucharist with his new Parishioners at the Cathedral of the Child Jesus. Concelebrating  the Eucharist with Archbishop Banda were; the Archbishop of Nyeri – Kenya Most Rev. Anthony Muheria, four (4) former Vicar Generals of Ndola Diocese namely; Fr. Martin Kaluba Bwalya, Fr. Alexander Ngosa, Fr. Raphael Chanda and Fr. Tresphor Mutale.

Other con-celebrants from Ndola Diocese were; Fr. Charles Tembo the Procurator General, Fr. Mathew Mumba the Pastoral Director, Fr. Francis Mukosa Director for Social Programmes and Radio Icengelo Station Manager Fr. Ng’andwe.

A good number of the Laity from Ndola Diocese, who included the Mayor of Luanshya District His Worship Mr Nathan Chanda, also attended the Sunday Eucharist.

After the Eucharistic celebration Archbishop Banda planted a tree within the grounds of the Cathedral.
