Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God

Today on the very first day of the Week, Month and the New Year – 2018, we celebrate the great Feast – the Solemnity of the Divine Motherhood of Mary – Mary as the Mother of God. This solemnity as it were means precisely that: Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ – who is both God and man – is also the Mother of God.
2. In this Solemnity we acknowledge Mary’s role in our salvation history, when she said: “let you will be done unto me according to your word.” Mary said, “Yes” to the mission of bearing the Word-made-flesh. So let us rejoice with Mary on this Solemnity of her Divine Motherhood and give thanks and praise to God for His saving love for us.

A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth on the other hand I will surely come again again.
