MONITORING AND EVALUATION TOOLS WORKSHOP

On 23rd November 2020, the Orphans and Vulnerable Children officer and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the Catholic Diocese of Ndola travelled to 5 districts of the UKAID Match Fund 6 project to conduct a 10 days’ workshop with community volunteers. The districts include Chingola, Chililabombwe, Kitwe, Masaiti and Mpongwe.

The purpose of travel was to train community volunteers in monitoring and evaluation tools required for the accurate capturing of data on the project. Each district comprises of 4 communities and each community has 17 community volunteers. Out of 20 communities, 19 communities were visited with a total number of 244 (177 Female and 67 Male) community volunteers trained in monitoring and evaluation tools.

The community volunteers also had a refresher training in the photo voice activity which involves capturing of images to demonstrate the project progression. The volunteers have been availed cameras to conduct the photo voice activity. Below are few Highlights.
