Today , 16th October 2020, the Ndola deanery welcomed the Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri JCD, Bishop of Ndola diocese. The event that was held at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, began with a welcome remarks and a brief history of the deanery given by the Vicar Forane of Ndola deanery- Rev. Fr. Dr. Gabriel Mapulanga. It was followed by Mass celebrated by His Lordship Bishop Phiri and Co- celebrated by Director Pastoral- Rev. Fr. Mathews Mumba, Procurator General- Rev. Fr. Charles Tembo, Parish Priest- Rev. Fr. James Nyondo and other Priests in the Deanery. After Mass a Luncheon was prepared by the Catholic Women’s League for the Bishop, priests and various leaders of Lay-groups, congregations and Movements. A special Gift was given to the Bishop by the Vicar Forane to welcome him to Ndola deanery. Below are a few Highlights.
