The project is being implemented in five districts namely: Chingola, Chililabombwe, Kitwe, Mpongwe and Masaiti. Four communities are targeted in each district.
One of the activities under the project is to rehabilitate ablution blocks at health centres offering maternity services within the target communities, this is to ensure that health centres are supported to maintain hygiene practices necessary for the care of pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under five. The Health Manager Mr Kabwe Kampamba, Program officer for orphans and vulnerable children Ms Pauline Mumbi and Information, Communications and Technology Officer Mrs Agnetta Musonda visited the various clinics to check on the works that have been conducted.
