St Charles Borromeo Parish in Mpatamato (Luanshya) held a seminar on the importance of the year of the Word of God on 22nd February 2020, supported by the Parish Priest, Fr. Kelvin Bwalya.

The sessions were conducted with the help of facilitators the Zone (two facilitators in fact came from Ndola and Bwana Mkubwa deaneries respectively), with the support of the Deanery Chaplain, Fr. Davies Chileshe, OFM Conv.

Topics covered in the seminar were:

1) The origin of the Word of God.
2) Interpretation of the Word of God
3) The Word of God in the eyes of the prophets
4) The importance of the year of the Word of God in our lives.

The seminar ran from 09: 00 to 15:00hours. Around 150 participants turned up, coming from the 14 Small Christian Communities of the parish, plus seven youth Small Christian Communities and one Senior Youth Community.
