Closure of Diocesan Phase of 2023 Synod.

Today, 21st May 2022, The First Phase, the Diocesan Phase (October 2021 — April 2022), which was rescheduled due to other challenges among them the Covid-19 situation in our country, has come to an end in Ndola Diocese. This has been marked with the celebration of the Diocesan Pre-Synod Session that preceded with Mass, which was celebrated by Very Rev. Fr. Christopher Chowa – Vicar General of Ndola Diocese. Mass was later succeeded by a Listening Session that involved presentation of reports from various representatives of all the faithful who were involved in the discussions on given topics in parishes, lay movements, schools and universities, religious congregations and other groups among many. The aim of these discussions at Diocesan level of the Synod was to integrate the Synodal Process into the life of the local Church in creative ways that promote deepened communion, fuller participation, and a more fruitful mission of the Church. Below are a few Highlights.
