On, 6th August 2025, the Church in Mufulira rejoiced as Br. Andrew Kaluba and Fr. Kabaso Joachim Musonda made their Perpetual Profession at a beautiful Mass held at St. Francis and Clare Parish. The celebration was presided over by Very Rev. Fr. Lewis Mutachila, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Ndola, standing in for Archbishop Dr. Benjamin Phiri JCD, who was unable to attend. The profession was made in the presence of Fr. Leo, the General Superior of the congregation, who had travelled from Korea for this special occasion. Also present were Fr. Emmanuel Chali, Provincial Superior, and Fr. Gabriel, Secretary to the General Superior, as well as the families, friends, and religious communities who gathered to witness this moment of total commitment. After the Mass, the congregation joined the newly professed in a colorful reception, where a festive meal was shared, and heartfelt congratulations offered. The joyful celebration was a testament to the beauty of religious life and the hope it brings to the Church.
