On Saturday, 18th August 2023, the Salesian Youth Movement of Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe and
Namibia had their international conference at Don Bosco Youth Centre in Chingola under the theme:
YOUTH YOU ARE YEAST; ARISE IN HASTE. The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ndola, Rt. Rev. Dr
Benjamin Phiri – JCD celebrated mass at which he encouraged the Youth to be of service to others, to be
available to God and to follow the path of their Patron, St. John Bosco.
After mass, the Bishop thanked the Provincial Superior of the SDB and the Rector of the Centre for
inviting him.
