Today, 18th April 2025, the faithful at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Ndola gathered for the Way of the Cross, a solemn procession that reflects on Jesus’ suffering and death. This devotion, traditionally held before the Good Friday service, invites Catholics to spiritually walk with Christ through the 14 Stations, remembering His sacrifice for humanity. The procession was led by Very Rev. Fr. Lewis Mutachial, the Vicar General of the Ndola Archdiocese, along with the cathedral priests. The faithful, in prayer and silence, moved station by station, meditating on Christ’s pain, love, and obedience to the Father’s will.
