Rev. Fr. Charles Tembo visited St. Francis Catholic Church on behalf of His Grace, Archbishop Dr. Alick Banda on 2nd June 2019. The visitation that commenced with mass, saw 80 candidates being conferred with the sacrament of confirmation.

Mass continued with the 1st reading and 2nd reading from Acts 1:1-11 and Ephesians 1:17-23 respectively.

The Gospel was proclaimed by Fr. Tembo from Luke 24:46-53.

Rev. Fr. Charles Tembo then gave an inspiring homily on the Ascension of our lord Jesus Christ and the responsibility we have as christian to live a worthy of our Calling.

Offertory, consecration and communion their after followed. Mass ended with a final blessing from Rev. Fr. Charles Tembo.

After Mass the pastoral Visit continued as Fr. Tembo  held a closed door meeting with the Parish Council and then he was shown around by The Parish Chairman and his executives on the works done so far and future plans of  of the church.

The Pastoral visit ended successful.
