Nuncio Celebrates Mass at Cathedral of Christ the King.
On Sunday, 10th August 2025, the Apostolic Nuncio to Zambia and Malawi, Archbishop Gian Luca Perici, celebrated Mass at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Kitwe. The solemn occasion came a day after the joyful Baptistine Sisters’ Jubilee celebrations. Archbishop Dr. Benjamin Phiri JCD, who concelebrated the Mass, delivered a thought-provoking homily on the need to exhibit the faith we have received. He described it as a timely reminder for all Christians to remain vigilant and committed to doing God’s will, warning against being caught off guard when Jesus returns. The celebration was graced by notable clergy, including the Vicar General- Very Rev. Fr. Lewis Mutachila, Rev. Fr. Evans Sokota – Vocations Director and the Archdiocesan Exorcist, Rev. Fr. Mukuka. The Mass was marked by a spirit of reverence, unity, and renewed dedication to living out the Gospel message.
