School of Faith Graduation 2026
Today, Ndola Archbishop, Dr. Benjamin Phiri, JCD, celebrated the Graduation Mass for the School of Faith. The event was organized by the School of Faith Local President, Rev. Fr. Winfred Katongo. The beautiful celebration began with the Holy Mass and brought together clergy, graduates, and members of the faithful in thanksgiving for the successful completion of the formation program. Notable in attendance were the Vicar General, Very Rev. Fr. Ephraim Mulenga Mapulanga; the Social Director, Rev. Fr. James Dokowe; the Pastoral Director, Rev. Fr. Thomas Chunika; and School of Faith lecturer, Rev. Fr. Christopher Chowa. In his homily, Archbishop Phiri emphasized that faith is not merely about acquiring knowledge, but about living out that faith through one’s actions and example. He compared the journey of faith to obtaining a driver’s license, explaining that although one may receive the qualification, they must continue practicing and perfecting the act of driving. Likewise, Christians must continually grow and mature in how they live their faith daily. He encouraged the graduates to become true witnesses of Christ through their conduct, service, and commitment to the Gospel. After Mass, the celebration proceeded with the graduation and certificate-awarding ceremony, marking a joyful milestone for the graduates and the School of Faith community. The event concluded in a spirit of gratitude and celebration.
